  • Engineered to help lower your downtime, even in harsh conditions. The AE50 series meets IP X4 waterproof standards, and offers airtight wet disc brakes, AC motors that minimize motor brush/contact checks or replacements, weather-resistant controls and more.
A braking system for all seasons
  • You need dependable braking. Unlike conventional drum and shoe braking systems, Komatsu’s airtight wet disc brake system can go up to 10,000 hours with minimal maintenance in most working environments.
High performance from Total AC
  • High performance while helping to minimize costs. The Total AC system utilizes advanced AC drive motors and an AC hydraulic motor to provide high operating efficiency, long operating life and longer run times than conventional DC-type motors.
Engine-like power
  • With all-around Dual Drive, the two front wheels are driven by independent AC drive motors for power and speed comparable to that of an engine-powered truck. And Dual Drive is built to provide great performance even in tough surface conditions.
Nimble controls for more precision
  • AE50 controllers are designed to be light, compact, and simple to use to help improve your operator’s efficiency and precision. The controller itself is thoroughly tested for reliability and housed in a compartment that can resist dust, water and other contaminants.
Designed to IP X4 water-resistant standards
  • All AE50 models are designed to meet IP X4 International water-resistant standards, down to their control micro-switches, potentiometers and control signal circuits. They can be used in coolers, freezers, outdoors, and washed down when needed.
